I come from Pennsylvania, Staten Island and Boston, but arrived in Canada in 1964 to study at King's in Halifax, and became a Canadian citizen in Toronto in 1971.

At NSCAD, 1980 to '83, I discovered the painter within.
I have lived in Singapore, studied a term in England, and visited Italy.

In 1988 I began experimenting in encaustic paint, and the experiment goes on.

I have shown across Canada. My paintings sit in several public collections, and in private ones as far afield as New Zealand. My encaustic workshops are a box office success.

I am devoted to CARFAC Maritimes, and served as its founding President. I am also a loyal member of Gallery Connexion artist-run centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

I divide my time between Fredericton, New Brunswick (short winter, small studio) and the Fundy Shore of Nova Scotia (long summer, large studio), where sailing and gardening are also done.

I love my roller blades, and they love downtown Fredericton.
